Arrive at Blackland Farm and settle into your accommodation, your base for the stay. Once everyone is unpacked, your Course Director will welcome the group, run through the plans for your visit and help you get familiar with the site. There’s time to get your bearings before heading out for your first activities and getting stuck into your residential.Over the following days, your group will take on a varied programme of outdoor adventures, with activities selected to suit your age group, objectives and experience. From climbing, abseiling and high ropes to archery, bushcraft, watersports and team challenges, there’s plenty to get stuck into both on site and beyond.

Evening activities are included too, giving your group the chance to make the most of every part of the day.All meals are provided from dinner on your first evening through to lunch on your final day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all included throughout your stay, with meals planned around your activity programme and the needs of your group.On your final day, there’s time to finish your programme, pack up and leave the accommodation ready for your journey home. Whether it’s a first school residential or part of a longer programme of outdoor learning, we’ll help you make the most of your time at Blackland Farm.

On arrival to site, you’ll be warmly welcomed by a member of our team who will brief you and your group on the days schedule of adventurous activities. Groups can enjoy their packed lunch onsite, with toilet and handwashing facilities nearby, plus staff refreshments available throughout your stay.

Arrive in North Wales and settle into the Centre, your base for the stay. Once everyone is unpacked, your Course Director will welcome the group, run through the plans for the week and help you get familiar with the centre. The first afternoon is all about getting out and exploring, with a local walk to help everyone acclimatise to the mountains and get a feel for the area.Over the following days, the group will take on a varied programme of mountain adventures.

Spend three days climbing and abseiling on the iconic gritstone crags of North Wales, before heading into the mountains for a full mountain day. Depending on your group and conditions, this could include classic peaks such as Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Tryfan or Moel Siabod. You’ll also have the chance to experience gorge walking, combining scrambling, rock, water and plenty of adventure. There’s more to the evenings too, with activities such as fixed-rope traverses, Nightline and traditional team games providing plenty of fun after a busy day outdoors.Groups are responsible for preparing their own meals throughout the stay, with support from our instructors and staff.

On the final day, the group will tidy and clean the centre, pack up and head home after completing the week’s adventures.
