GCSE Climbing

We are familiar with AQA, Edexcel and OCR GCSE PE Specifications and able to tailor coursers to suit any of the above examining bodies. Students can be assessed indoors and outdoors. We have access to artificial walls, abseiling towers, sandstone crags. These facilities and our keen staff team, mean we provide high quality courses. We provide plenty of background knowledge, helping to leave students with a lifelong passion for climbing. We offer bespoke courses from our site, as well as day courses and after-school or part day sessions – we can be flexible to suit you and your students’ needs.

National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS)

NNAS is a personal performance, non-competitive, incentive scheme for all ages to learn navigation skills and gain confidence to get out and enjoy the countryside. We currently offer: Outdoor Discovery Award 1, 2 and 3 star.
The Outdoor Discovery Award or ODA is ideal for people of all ages who wish to learn basic navigation skills at a gentle rate, encouraging them to gain and improve personal confidence to get out and get active. The Awards has been developed to help group leaders introduce the basic elements of navigation to people who want to explore outside.

British Canoeing (Paddle UK) PaddleSport Discovery and Explore Awards

We can offer the Paddle Start and Paddle Discover awards.

National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme (NICAS)

The National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme (NIAS) provide a safe, fun introduction to climbing indoors, helping learners to develop climbing movement skills and build their confidence, and create a grassroots pathway to additional climbing activities both indoors and outdoors. Climbers can record progress in their own logbook, giving learners a clear roadmap to track their climbing achievements and a sense of being part of the NICAS community. With both an indoor and outdoor climbing wall we have all the amenities to provide a fantastic start to the scheme. We are Level Two Providers of the scheme
