Blackland Farm Outdoor Centre are incredibly pleased to announce that we have been successful in our bid to purchase the site from Girlguiding UK, and will reopen for business in April 2024.

The original team at Blackland Farm, joining with the team at 4th Dimension Ltd- a long term operator based at Blackland Farm for the last 30 years- will continue to protect and grow the site’s long standing provision of outdoor experiences to young people and the community, for the benefit of social and personal growth of all its beneficiaries- that’s around 100,000 people a year.

Blackland Farm Outdoor Centre will continue to offer experiences for all its prior customers, with particular attention to retaining it’s adventure provision for Girlguiding- continuing with a reduced rate for all Guiding and Scouting customers. 

We can’t wait to invest in our infrastructure to continue to be here for many more generations of local children and adults, and have lots of plans for the future of adventure at Blackland Farm. 

For now, though, we’re focusing on delivering brilliant outdoor experiences this season,, and would like to invite you all to be a part of our future- just like you’ve been a part of our past. 

Blackland Farm Outdoor Centre is the trading name of 4th Dimension Ltd, registered company 04617597. Our Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority reference is R0193 and we are an Approved Activity Provider for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. We also hold the Learning Outside of the Classroom Badge, Adventuremark Quality Mark, and are a Delivery Partner with Paddle UK, the National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme, and the National Navigation Award Scheme. 

Blackland Farm Outdoor Centre is a national provider of school activity residentials, day visits, Guide and Scout camps, birthday parties, The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, SEN school outreach provision, Team Building Days, charitable fundraising events, school holiday clubs, and other outdoor provisions.
